The flat packing trend is invading design everywhere! It seems like every week there is another article in the New York Times about a designer who uses the flat packing technology to change the name of design.
This week NYX’s featured architects and designers involve in “the cult of disappearing design.” Patirck McInerney and Rene Gonzalez.
Gonzalez stated, “We’re interested in having our work reflect and melt into the environment. We think about enclosures that can dissapate and disappear, so that the outside and inside bleed into one another.”
